New York City : Oct 18th – 24th 2012

Last October, the exact week before storm Sandy, my best friend and I went to NYC for the first time.  We stayed 5 nights at the Jane Hotel which at first seemed like we walked into our own little Saturday Night Live skit but in fact turned out to be the best choice for two girls on a budget.  The room was 50sf, had two bunks with crunchy mattresses and communal bathrooms.  But when you’re in NYC, and you’re out from dusk to dawn exploring the amazing city you don’t need anything more.  We had the best time.  This adventure was unforgettable fun.  We rented a car and drove out to Montauk, took a pedi cab through Central Park, saw Jimmy Fallon twice, walked the Highline and explored the Grand Central Station.  Plus much more fantastic memories.  Best. Trip. Ever.
